Assistant Vice President, Credit Control (MIS & Reporting)

  • Support the compilation of internal MIS, regulatory report and survey according to internal credit policies and regulatory requirements
  • Review and assess the Expected Credit Loss (ECL) provisioning level and appropriateness for the Bank's credit portfolio
  • Support the post-lending and credit portfolio management strategy such as problem loan identification, credit profile review and account strategy proposal, exit plan formulation, recovery and watch list monitoring
  • Prepare data and report on the Bank's credit portfolio quality review for Credit Committee, and proactively report to senior management for any irregularity and potential risk.
  • Assist in formulating and reviewing credit policies, guidelines and procedures to regulate the credit activities undertaken by the bank
  • Handle ad-hoc credit risk tasks or projects as assigned


  • University graduate in Risk Management, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related disciplines
  • Have knowledge and hands-on experience on data analysis using programming tools SAS, SQL, and Excel VBA
  • At least 8 years of solid experience in banking industry, preferably with knowledge of commercial or retail lending products
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements and banking practices on credit risk management
  • Excellent analytical, technical and problem solving skills
  • Good multi-tasking skills and ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Self-motivated with strong risk control sense
  • Good communication, negotiation and business writing skills. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Holder of CFA, FRM, or ECF-CRM is preferred
