Assistant Vice President, HRIS (Permanent)

Responsibilities:

  • Support HR transformation in line with the HR strategy and business goals
  • Partner with key process owners to create process redesign and automation opportunities that add value, reduce risk and improve the employee experience in the Bank
  • Oversee and direct the process to the integrated HR systems that enables efficiencies, data analytics, innovative self-service solutions and manage risk and compliance
  • Research, analyze, coordinate and lead the system implementation, enhancement and upgrade projects
  • Serve as an interface between HRIS users, people process owners, IT Department and external vendors to ensure the effective process delivery under the HRIS platforms and associated applications
  • Lead the team to provide ad hoc and regular reports and analysis to support key HR decisions
  • Develop and deploy automated tools and dashboards to HR and business leaders on key workforce analytics

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Human Resources Management, Information Technology, Statistics or Quantitative Analysis
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in multinational organizations or financial institutions
  • Sound knowledge on the management of HR related systems
  • Good understanding of employment related laws and ordinance
  • Good grasp of data security, database management and data analytics
  • Good coordination, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good communications in both English and Chinese

Human Resources Projects Manager (2-year contract)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders on the implementation of HR projects and initiatives (e.g. user requirements, functional analysis, user acceptance tests, documentation and post release maintenance).
  • Oversee defect management on HR systems to be implemented and coordinate with IT Department and support vendors.
  • Review existing HR processes and coordinate with IT Department and support vendors on quality maintenance and enhancements.
  • Devise system rollout and communication plans for various stakeholders.
  • Drive HRIS initiatives and projects by leveraging IT for effective and efficient HR services delivery including operations review and process re-design.

Requirements

  • University graduate in Information Systems, Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management and HRIS support (of which at least 2 years at managerial level); exposure in financial institutions an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience in PeopleSoft is highly preferred
  • Good coordination, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in advanced usage of Microsoft Office and data query language.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
