Assistant Vice President, Operations (Team Head) - Card Business & Payment Solutions Department
Responsibilities
- Participate in fraud investigation and provide training & coach team members to build strong analytics and investigations skills
- Design and deliver anti- fraud training to raise staff awareness and knowledge
- Review anti-money laundering reports to identify suspected transactions and initiate follow up action to ensure comply with related regulations.
- As a contact point with market peers, card organizations to exchange the latest intelligence and formulate preventive strategies and suggestions to management,
- Develop and maintain a robust Card Operations for the card business and ensure that the operational procedures conform to the Bank’s standard of quality, operational efficiency and controls and include effective internal controls to manage operational risks
- Manage overall activities within Card Operations and ensure that timely and quality services are provided to both internal and external customers through customer-focused operations in order to maximize cardholder satisfaction, minimize cardholder attrition, strengthen brand image and maximize profitability
- Continuously review, recommend and implement improvements / enhancements to operational procedures & workflow within Card Operations
- Work closely with Projects & IT to ensure that all operational supports are addressed on new system initiatives / enhancements / on-going business needs
- Prepare management information reports related to Fraud, AML and Operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor or above in related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years of card operation experience in card fraud control & AML
- Independent and logical thinking to manage customer feedback
- Proven experience in supervising a team, able to work under pressure and liaise effectively with the business & supporting units
- Highly attentive to details and strong communication & with problem solving skills
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua is preferred
