  • Manage high severity incidents with customer impact with focus of recovering services as soon as possible.

  • Manage incident trends with focus to close the loop on problems/incidents.

  • Drive root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of problem incidents.

  • Manage activities to ensure availability of application (for e.g., scheduled restart, application services restart).

  • Manage business volumes against IT resources allocated to ensure adequate capacity (not excessive).

  • Manage patch management strategy (if applicable).

  • Manage certificate and encryption key renewals.

  • Manage respective service provider for execution of the activities.

  • Mentor other junior platform support staff or manage any direct reports, ensuring correct performance metrics are set and regular interventions are in place to achieve quality outcomes.


  • Degree holder in Information Technology or related disciplines.

  • Possess at least 8 years of relevant experience in Information Technology, preferably in financial industry.

  • Strong knowledge of the software delivery pipeline, front to back

  • Shown awareness of application security, technology risk and source control

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill.

  • Team player, ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, self-motivated, able to learn quickly, with good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese).
