Assistant Vice President, Treasury Settlement (Operations Centre)
Job MatcherResponsibilities:
- Check bond, IRS/CCS, Banknote, currency options, equity options and forward contract
- Handle CMBWLB Certificate of Deposit (CD) new issue
- Perform checker roles on corporate action event. e.g. interest payments and redemption of CMBWLB Certificate of Deposit (CD), Subordinated Notes and interest rate swap (IRS), cross currency swap and assets swap
- Check on DCM transaction settlement in providing billing and delivery service
- Communicate with FI counterparty, branch, internal department and correspondent bank on Treasury Settlement Operations
- Resolve ad-hoc irregular cases
- Assist management on review and perform MIS reports
- Review & improve the efficiency of trade processing via “Process Improvement" and system enhancements
- Assist on new business workflow discussion
- Perform ad hoc tasks assigned
- Handle ad hoc projects in business development and regulatory requirement, and coordinating with internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or above
- Minimum 10 years' relevant experience with at least 2 years' managerial roles
- Knowledge in Clearstream, CMU operation is required. Experience in DCM trading would be a plus
- Strong leadership, communication and people management skills
- Responsible, self-motivated and independent
- Able to work under pressure and be willing to meet tight deadline
- Able to adopt changes and be innovative
- Strong knowledge of MS Office & Chinese typing
- Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua
