Job Description:

Role Summary
The role is responsible for leading the formulation and implementation of product marketing strategies and initiatives for Life & Health products under Bancassurance channel.

Job Responsibilities
(a) Bank product launch process

  • Ensure alignment with Marketing teams, Life & Health division (including Product, Pricing, Operation, Market Intelligence & Solutions), and also among distribution channels (agencies, brokers and banca)
  • Recommend the best mix of marketing channel deployment to maximize marketing impact and optimize cost
  • Obtain feedback from Financial Planning Managers and clients in search of improvement opportunities to better shape future product marketing strategy
  • Work with relevant department for bank product shelf management

(b) Bank product sales & promotion material

  • Be the champion to lead end-to-end Product Marketing function for Banca
  • Identify and recommend various marketing tools / media (e.g. leaflet / flyer / video / online comparison platform, social media, etc) that is most appropriate for Banca Channel
  • Work with Marketing teams to develop product marketing launches, sales tools development, repackaging initiatives, product advertising and channel communications.
  • Work with Marketing team to identify and source the right vendors (e.g. agencies, product houses, designers, copywriters, etc) to support marketing communication execution with quality
  • Be the key focal point with bank partner on all marketing events
  • Work closely with Legal and Compliance to ensure marketing communications comply with relevant regulations and rules.

(c) Other core responsibilities

  • Proactively identify business opportunities by understand the profitability mix of the products and mapping distinctive product proposition with target clients based on the demographic and clients’ needs to build sustainable and effective client incentive strategy in order to achieve the company business objective, and also ensure the sales and profitability can maintain a good balance.
  • Formulate and implement integrated marketing client incentive strategy that are aligned to the product proposition. Through segmentation & analysis, to identify target client segment for the best fit of products and trigger sales opportunities including expand the sales opportunities of clients and to acquire new business in order to build business capabilities efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with other marketing sub-teams on various online / offline advertisement and social media platform to maximize media exposure is achieved to support business objective. To ensure smooth communication with other teams so that campaign message can be fully optimized in the advertisement in order to enhance the media efficiency and allocate budget effectively.

Job Requirements

  • University graduate in any business and marketing-related subjects
  • At least 10 years' experience in client proposition/ segmentation / portfolio management / client incentive, candidates with experience in banking/insurance industry is a must
  • Expert knowledge in insurance products with strong business sense
  • Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English and Cantonese
  • Proven leadership skills & results driven
