Job Duties:

  • Responsible for implementations of feasibility study, solution development for consultancy and/or government funded projects about Intelligent Robotics and Automation System development
  • Explore and study new technical solution development and applications, learn about new technology (e.g., robotics, modeling, pattern recognition, machine learning, etc.) and technical toolkits (e.g., computer simulation, open sources of AI applications, etc.) and deploy them to projects to enhance the professional competencies to support the team’s sustainable development
  • Responsible for the technical document writing and preparation for projects and technology development
  • Assist in organizing and delivering promotional actives related to the projects, such as study missions, workshops, technical seminars, training course, etc.
  • Support the project management and ad hoc tasks when required
  • Occasional travel to the mainland to perform duties

Job Requirements:

  • Degree from disciplines from Robotics and Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent with 2 years or more relevant experience
  • Experience in robotics and/or automation system development and applications preferred
  • Experience in system integration an advantage
  • Good interpersonal, presentation, communication and team work skills essential
  • Mature, self-motivated and result-oriented with excellent time and project management skills
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates. A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered. The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
