Aon is currently recruiting an Associate Director - Placement  to join our team in Hong Kong .

Responsibilities:

  • Closely work with Client Relationship Managers to place any opportunities into reinsurance markets
  • Keep contact with reinsurers to build up relationship and promote Aon value
  • Support managers to identify potential pipeline targets and develop a business plan to achieve revenue growth 
  • Give guidance to Broking Support team to prepare new and renewal information package, including slip wordings review, data checking, treaty statistics, other supporting information especially for those key treaty client accounts
  • Engaging with reinsurers to understand their needs
  • Liaising with Operation team for any premium and claims issues from our reinsurers
  • Ensuring every offer goes to our online placement platform, i.e. ABConnect
  • Fulfilling all our internal compliance requirements
  • Hands-on with internal operating system
  • Support other projects upon request
R equirements:
  • University degree
  • Minimum 8 years of reinsurance/insurance broking experience
  • Knowledge of the Greater China insurance and reinsurance market preferred
  • Independent, analytical, conceptually minded and pro-active
  • Understanding of dynamic and global office structure
  • Skilled in working with several relevant computer systems
  • Able to work under tight deadlines and pressure
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to write, present, negotiate and influence
  • Proficient command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin
