Associate Director, Planning and Scheduling

Responsibilities:

• Provide a master scheduling program that monitors and assesses if the site project control program is comprehensive, accurate and up-to-date
• Incorporate new / revised project estimates and review overall schedule to ensure viability and availability of resources to support an up-to-date master schedule
• Partner with project personnel to establish the plan and document the scope, develop project schedules and/or monitor capital cost estimates, to provide the most benefit to the Company
• Build and maintain the integrated program, liaising closely with various departments to ensure there are no clashes or periods of over/under exposure within the program
• Maintain and ensure integrity of data. Analyse data, identify opportunities, risks and concerns
• Develop and implement standards for schedule and scope management and program of reporting

Requirements:

• University degree in Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 12 years’ relevant experience at managerial level
• Construction or property development background with a specialisation in scheduling
• Professional qualification of CIOB or RICS will be an advantage
• Knowledge of statutory requirements of a construction project in Hong Kong
• Expertise in understanding project sequencing and scheduling major Capex and FM programs and projects
• Expertise in the use of Planning software (Primavera P6)
• Experience in analysing data and determining business impact - converting data to intelligence through application of First Principles thinking
• Experience in conducting program risk analysis and ability to develop and recommend solutions to issues based on First Principles
