Associate Director - Private Client Services

Job Purpose:

Provide high quality services required to establish and manage onshore corporate entities to client structures with timeliness and efficiency. Contribute towards the operational strategies, financial planning and development of larger structures for high net worth trust and fiduciary clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage key client portfolio, manage relationship with high net worth clients
  • Maintain and build close relationships with clients and intermediaries
  • Able to work closely with the Trustee Services Team and other stakeholders on the Service Line side and closely collaborate with the Global Sales Team
  • Drive the initiatives with Managing Director and Global Sales Team to establish intermediate relationships network in Hong Kong and Asia Pacific
  • Support Trust Manager to drive initiatives and activities (e.g. Rugby 7, cocktails, etc.) to develop/ maintain/ strengthen relationships with key clients and intermediaries
  • Understand the market trends and regulatory changes from time to time and with timely feedback to our clients and keep update the trends to Trustee Team
  • Coach the team members to strengthen the relationships with clients and intermediaries to achieve departmental targets
  • Develop new business across multiple TMF products and services
  • Manage all aspects of sourcing and developing new relationships in order to expand our private client group
  • Ensure the provision of an efficient and quality services, liaising with clients, agencies and professional advisers as required in accordance with legislation
  • Ensure that new client business allocated to the job holder is thoroughly researched and that the clients’ requirements are understood
  • Attend meetings with clients and professional intermediaries both locally and in other locations

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in business related discipline, or demonstrate equivalent relevant experience
  • Completed relevant professional qualification: ICSA / STEP / ACCA or Law
  • Over 12 years with sales leader experience
  • Strong experience preferably in financial institutions, trust companies or professional firms
  • In depth experience in sales of financial products and services
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
  • Proactive, result-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Good connection with clients and professional intermediaries
