Reporting to the team leader, you will be working in a 40-staff solid research team with specialization in one of the key public and social issues that range from housing, education, innovation, art & culture to healthcare. You will be required to carry out in-depth micro/macro-research in the respective fields and work closely with the key opinion leaders, scholars and influential figures to generate valuable insights and arouse social awareness. By means of generating insightful research reports, the ultimate goal is to assist the key stakeholders in the society in coming up with meaningful solutions for the well-being and sustainability of Hong Kong society.
To qualify, you should be have prior research experience coupled with solid writing and editing skills. Top-notch academic credential is critical for this position. Advanced research-oriented degree in first-tier universities is highly preferred. Relevant qualification in respective categories (e.g. qualified surveyors for the category of housing) will be an advantage. You should demonstrate strong passion in public policies and social issues with genuine understanding about Hong Kong society as well as interest in contributing to the better future of Hong Kong. You should be a self-motivated individual who can work with tight deadline. Excellent command of English and Chinese is crucial. Candidates with less relevant experience but high potential will also be considered.
