A prestigious large corporation who is active in property development in Hong Kong with a brand which is reputable for its excellence in building and running comprehensive and premium integrated complexes for multi-purpose use, including grade A office towers, advanced integrated centers for R&D. Upon approval of additional funding for more active and innovative business expansion, they are going to hire an Associate Director to lead the development team for the planning and development projects within Hong Kong.

Responsibility:

  • Participating in feasibility studies, planning and implementation of new development initiatives of the corporation and make sure the overall projects / development can be completed within budget, time and quality;
  • Manage and handle all new developments initiative by land acquisition, lease modification, planning application, urban design and land development management.
  • Administration of land associated matters, such as change of use, land exchange and lease modification.
  • Documentation for selection/appointment of consultants and to follow up on subsequent management and monitoring of their performance;

Ideally you will possess the following;

  • Degree holder in Surveying(General Practice), Architecture or related disciplines;
  • Member of RICS/HKIS as a Registered Surveyor in General Practice preferred.
  • Minimum 12 years’ relevant working experience gained from property developer, statutory bodies or property consultants with exposure to managerial level.
  • Experienced in project feasibility studies, land acquisition process, change of use and land exchange in Hong Kong.
  • Familiar with development planning, project feasibility studies, planning application, land acquisition process etc.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills with good analytical mind and strong sense in property law.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
