AVP, Investment Operations Section (Operations Centre)

Responsibilities:
- Assist section head to manage all daily operations activities of investment operations section
- Support the business as the subject matter expert to launch the new or change in investment products, services and distribution channels
- Define, implement & monitor SLA of different operational activities
- Manage & monitor the implementation of new systems, launch of products, and departmental & cross-departmental projects in accordance to the business strategies
- Ensure the operations in compliance with related statutory and regulatory requirements, service agreement and internal guidelines
- Liaise with stakeholders in supporting the daily operational activities & resolve any operational issues of the section
- Responsible for effective supervision, performance of individual and team activities to achieve required productivity and effectiveness
- Develop and implement comprehensive operational procedures in timely manner
- Identify area of improvement, development and opportunities of the team, and drive productivity & operational excellence
Requirements:
- Degree holder or above
- Minimum 10 years of relevant banking experience
- Familiar with the regulatory requirements (i.e. HKMA & SFC) & markets practices
- Understand local & global equity markets, different financial instruments & operations flow
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving and influencing skills
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese word processing
