Job Responsibilities

Establishment of Dedicated MCV Agency Force

  • Responsible for recruiting key MCV agency leaders and advisors from the market according to the business plan
  • Lead and facilitate the setup of MCV business model, onboarding operations, agency office and logistics, training, sales and client management support as well as quality monitoring and control
  • Explore industry trend and market intelligence; create market attention and promote the efficient market proposition for SLHK to attract MCV teams and top advisors
  • Collaborate well with the GBA project team and other corresponding functions to coordinate and execute MCV agency setup, related issues and initiatives

MCV Agency Leadership and Business Management

  • Responsible for the overall growth and development of the MCV agency force, ensuring the sales force maintains the required level of professional ethics, and establishing standards of capability and performance to deliver against the business plan
  • Translate the MCV agency business plan and financial objectives into agency initiatives, determining the action focus to achieve sales and manpower goals, as well as other productivity and quality targets, product portfolio as well as expense budget control
  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day business operations and progress, maintain business momentum and uplift sales activities and productivity of the MCV agency force

Ongoing MCV Agency Expansion

  • Recruit, develop and retain top-talented MCV agency leaders and advisors, cultivate a culture of high performance and growth driven within the MCV agency force
  • Implement MCV agency recruitment and development initiatives such as specific sales and recruitment incentive, top performer recognition, productivity enhancement programs, training and development support, as well as specific agency events and activities to drive desired agency behaviors and achieve sales, manpower and productivity targets
  • Review, design and enhance industrial recruitment schemes, tactics and focus; implement the execution with agency leaders for team recruitment as well as attract and develop new MCV agencies for the company
  • Discover and explore MCV market opportunities; promote SLHK market proposition, initiates and implement new initiatives and programs to expand the corresponding MCV business portfolio

Maintain MCV Agency Momentum and Engagement

  • Ensure agency aligning with company’s mission, vision, value and strategy
  • Ensure compliance of industry requirements and guidelines, and company’s rules and practices
  • Ensure effective communication and relationship between Company and MCV agency force by regular interaction with all levels of managers and advisors

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree holder
  • At least 10 years’ agency sales and business development experience focusing on MCV segment and with solid experience in managing and leading team
  • In-depth understanding of sales within the insurance industry, sales trends, manpower flow, new product development and market intelligence, especially in MCV market specific perspective
  • Strong ability to create sales and marketing drives for MCV market segment, able to build up and boost the overall sales and recruitment capabilities of the MCV agency force
  • MCV market related working experience preferred
  • Good understanding and network related to the MCV market need in Hong Kong, the latest industry trend and development in China insurance industry as well as BGA related policies and business opportunities
  • Extensive networking and interpersonal skills in insurance market
  • Strong project management, problem solving and stakeholder management skill
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills
  • Fluent in Mandarin (both speaking and writing) and English
