Backend developer

Yedpay’s backend engineers work on builing and expand APIs and services and work with our partners to launch new markets, payment methods, and capabilities.

In that role, you’ll be making some of the most significant decisions for the company. You’ll get to work with other engineers to build delightful features that span various parts of the system, as well as our business, sales and operations teams to understand and solve our users’ pain points.

As a Backed Developer at Yedpay, you might work on: 

  • Develop and implement web applications under PHP frameworks.
  • Participate in PHP related system development.
  • Design database structure and API communication flow.
  • Design and Implement database objects on MySQL.
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver applications in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with external parties on system development, API integration and data migration.
  • Build a new API for our users, or iterate on existing APIs Launch a new market or payment method
  • Build new systems to securely store sensitive data 
  • Perform system integration and system testing.

Skills may require:

  • PHP framework (MVC) Laravel, Symfony or Cake Framework.
  • Experience with databases such as MySQL or Postgress
  • Experience with Agile
  • Version control (GIT and GIT workflow)
  • OOP
  • Team leader experience ( Plus)
  • 3+ years relevant working experience.
