Bakery Sales Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Maintain smooth daily shop operations with optimal inventory level
• Assist to establish and maintain the highest standard of store environment thus providing satisfactory customer service
• Provide customer service by greeting and responding to customer enquiries and complaints
• Monitor the visual appeal and the availability of baked goods on display
• Report low baked goods stock to the Baker in a timely manner

Food Runner

Responsibilities:

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables accurately and rapidly
• Assist the wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing the appropriate tableware
• Remove the dirty dishes and utensils
• Act the contact point between the Front of House and the kitchen
• Ensure the food is served in accordance with safety standards

  Requirements

  Excellent communication skills

  Good organizational skills and able to multi-tasking and prioritize effectively

  Experience in serving customers in a bakery/retail/restaurant environment preferred

  Sense of creative visual concepts and ability to create attractive store display of bakery goods
