Job Description
This individual will manage Brightstar’s BuyBack services for one of our key accounts, with the goal of growing the business with this customer. In addition, he / she will also be tasked with brining in new businesses and / or signing up new customers in HK.

The ideal candidate is expected to

  • Own ongoing relationship building and interaction with different client stakeholders
  • Proactively maintain an awareness of all contributing forces to the BuyBack service performance with our client/s – i.e. competitor activity, operational improvement opportunities etc.
  • Work with appropriate internal departments and with our clients to develop actions to address identified issues
  • Oversee all communication with local client teams (weekly reviews, escalations, ad-hoc requests, commercial and legal agreements, IT support, QBRs, etc.) and establish ongoing operating rhythm with customers
  • Operation oversight to ensure all SLAs are met, work with internal teams resolve operational issues in a timely manner, and to make continual improvement recommendations to improve customer satisfaction and efficiency
  • Ensure program profitability and own program product and pricing negotiation with customer
  • Monitor competitive activities and industry trends to look for upsell / cross-sell opportunities
  • Track key performance and operational metrics: volume, revenue, margin, site traffic with supporting reports, and use the analytics to improve business outcome
  • Lead the implementation of new project / initiative with the clients

Job Requirement

  • 3-5 years account management experience
  • Exceptional communication skills, ability to build rapport with and influence customers and internal stakeholders
  • Must be able to work independently, with little direction and a desire to overcome obstacles and succeed.
  • Team player, entrepreneurial approach and the ability to get things done in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to working in high-pressure, continually changing environment.
  • Buyback trade-in, mobile industry familiarity or experience
  • Keen attention to detail and proven ability to produce high-quality output.
  • Experience in digital (website, online store or online service management).
