Hang Seng's Retail Distribution focuses on personal wealth management and financial services. Our one-stop wealth management initiatives are designed for both our affluent and mass integrated account customers. With more than 280 service outlets, including around 60 Prestige Banking Centres for our high-end personal customers, we serve over half of the adult population, offering an extensive range of products.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Branch Operations Management Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Oversee the new Customer Due Diligence team and engage in Global Standard related projects and remediation
  • Develop policies and operational procedures on Customer Due Diligence and Global Standard to achieve the assigned goals
  • Identify improvement opportunities in respective area and operation controls to strengthen the efficiency, competency and capacity for business needs
  • Monitor and uplift the compliance standard of branch network and ensure the business activities are compliance with Group’s policies and standard
  • Drive and coordinate with different departments on Customer Due Diligence and Global Standard procedure enhancement and streamlining

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
  • Minimum 6 years' retail banking experience, preferably with exposure to retail banking business and knowledge of related regulatory requirements and guidelines, with proven leadership and coaching abilities
  • Significant experience in project management with an ability to interpret and solve complex issues
  • Ability to bring divergent ideas to create new and valuable solutions
  • Shown strong situation awareness, strong desire to learn and able to work in Agile environment
  • Resilience to stress, able to unlock full potential and prepare for the future of work
  • Good communication/influencing skills
  • High proficiency in English, Chinese and Putonghua
