Casey Quirk by Deloitte (“Casey Quirk") is the world’s largest management consulting team dedicated exclusively to the investment management industry. The focus of our client work includes:

  • Broad vision/business strategy development
  • Acquisition due diligence support
  • Investment organization development and enhancement
  • Product positioning and marketing planning
  • New market entry strategy

Our clients include many of the largest asset managers in the world, leading hedge funds, private equity and real estate firms. Our Asia-Pacific business is based in Hong Kong; our APAC focus is on Australia and China, with occasional assignments out of Japan, Korea, India and Singapore.

Our Business Analyst (Hong Kong) plays an essential role in client engagements and broader marketing and research support for our overall APAC efforts, with a bias over time to work in Greater China.
 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct asset management industry research on leading firms, products, buyers and trends
  • Develop quantitative analysis and financial models for business plans, ventures and transactions
  • Analyze investment quality, leveraging risk and performance analytics tools
  • Help clients understand and react to the evolving global investment management environment
  • Play an integral role in developing Mandarin-language content for clients and business development
  • Actively participate in business development in China with CQ APAC MD, including by serving as an interpreter

Job RequirementĄG

  • Undergraduate degree (finance or economics preferred)
  • 1-2 years' experience in consulting
  • Strong excel skills: financial modelling, data manipulation, VBA coding a plus
  • Fluent in English and proficient in Mandarin Chinese
  • Enthusiastic interest in the investment management industry
  • Outstanding academic achievement and demonstrated leadership
  • Strong interpersonal skills
