The Job

  • Reporting to Deal & Project Governance Manager, to monitor and to review on the proper governance of the Group’s portfolio of deals and projects (1000+) according to corporate policies, analyzing and reporting on projects on their health in terms of financial performance, progress and customer satisfaction, and supporting Business Heads and PMs to resolve operational issues
  • Assist Deal & Project Governance Manager to design/enhance and to implement processes and reporting for governing and monitoring the full project life-cycle from deal qualification to project closure
  • Work with delivery leaders and project managers to identify high risk and/or distressed projects, to assist in developing risk mitigation and/or remediation plans, and to perform regular reviews with project managers to report on update status on these projects against plan
  • Coach and work with project managers to ensure internal procedures are properly followed
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, prepare business requirements and documentations to support business initiatives
  • Develop and produce analysis and reports for business unit heads and top management
  • Develop guidelines, templates, training materials and other supporting tools to govern internal business operations

The Person

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Management, or related areas
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a large servicing company (e.g. IT service provider, management consulting firm background)
  • Experience in Project Governance is a must
  • Strong relationship management skills for working in multicultural environment and with senior management and project managers of different styles
  • Self-initiator with improvement oriented mindset to help establish new/improve current processes and tools
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Cantonese, Putonghua and English for communicating with senior management and project managers
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and delivering change/new processes internally or at client
  • Good understanding on project financials and Excel. Experience in business analysis, sales/pre-sales/business development of IT solutions and/or consulting projects a plus
