We are now looking for a proactive and high caliber candidate for the position of “Business & Sales Controller, APAC” to join us. 

Business and Sales Controller, APAC  

Location: Hong Kong, Causeway Bay  

Reporting to APAC Controlling Manager based in Shanghai and working very closely with the Managing Director and the Sales Dept, the candidate will be focused on business analysis and controlling, working on a regional level and across different channels (Wholesale, Retail, B2B and E-commerce).  

The candidate is expected to play a key proactive role in supporting business understanding and decision making, with the responsibility to be the point of reference for the Sales Analysis/Controlling team based in HQ.  

Financial skills combined with strong business and commercial acumen, proactive attitude and capability to work in a Team are very important for your application to be successful.  


Business and sales controlling  

  • Working in close cooperation with the local Sales/Operation Teams, to prepare the Sales reporting on a weekly basis explaining variances vs target by Channel/Country
  • To support the Management in the Planning process including yearly budget and quarterly forecast by Channel/Country (Revenues, Opex and Personnel costs)
  • To manage and review KPI monitoring business performance, to carry out detailed ad-hoc analysis, profitability control and project analysis, according to the strategic needs of the Management
  • To analyze gaps between actual data and budget/forecast target on a monthly basis, supporting Sales Teams in action plans preparation and monitoring the related execution
  • To support AFC (accounts, finance & control) on monthly closures activities
  • To manage daily activities on SAP (purchase orders, credit limit check, cost calculation, etc.)  


  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in business administration
  • Around 3/5 years’ experience in structured organizations driven by figures, ideally in Wholesale/ Retail companies
  • SAP knowledge is mandatory, Hyperion is a plus
  • Multi-tasking, dynamic, proactive and results oriented, capable to work under pressure
  • Logical mindset, ability to understand and summarize the key facts and figures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), good command of English is mandatory
  • Knowledge Reporting tools and MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint advanced level
  • Knowledge of Japanese will be a strong advantage
  • Immediate available or short notice period is definitely a plus
