Business Development, Capital Markets Consultancy (Hong Kong)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Capital Markets consultancy firm, who deliver expert business and management solutions to clients within financial services across the globe. They have an unprecedented reputation for being market leaders in electronic trading, risk and data management. Due to business growth, they are looking for someone who is driven to generate new business and effectively sell their services to a range of clients; from investment banks to hedge funds and fin-tech companies across all asset classes.

As a Business Development Manager, you will have complete responsibility for assigned accounts for the whole sales cycle, which will involve building rapport and nurturing long-term relationships with clients to provide highly customized and impactful solutions.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Sales experience: A minimum of 2 years in a face-to-face selling role
  • Experience of appointment making through to field sales and key account management is vital
  • Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills
  • Self-starter with a track record of exceeding targets
  • Ability to build relationships with senior level executives
  • Entrepreneurial approach
  • University degree educated
  • Proven track record of selling consultancy or expertise is preferred
  • Knowledge of capital markets and broader financial services would be desirable
