Purpose of the Role
Maximize sales & brand exposure of the Telford beer portfolio through a number of accounts in the Western On-Trade Bar & Restaurant Channel.
Focus on the sales & marketing of the various Telford beer brands within the current outlets and identify new business opportunities through new outlets.
Accountable for the Telford beer portfolio performance within assigned outlets.
Identify potential new outlets through which to maximize the beer portfolio.
Inspire bar owners/bar staff to recognize the value that the Telford beer portfolio adds to their business.
Be a “Brand Ambassador" for each of the brands.
Develop and maintain effective business relationships and contact with key customers in order to build long-term partnership that will provide our brands with a competitive advantage.
Identify and focus on securing distribution in target outlets.
Evaluate trading agreements and promotional contracts with customers to the benefit of the brand and the company.
Submit weekly sales and activity reports to line manager detailing performance versus targets and objectives.
Need to Know
Commercial Selling Skills.
Excellent English Oral and written communication skills
Basic understanding of the dynamics and operation of draught beers.
Good education ideally graduate.
2-3 years related experience is an advantage.
Able to work with minimum supervision.
Able to work under pressure.
Passionate about quality and service.
Numerate and articulate.
Committed to achieving results.
Energetic and stamina to work long and often unsociable hours.
Persuasive to influence others and gain confidence and respect.
A team player with excellent communications, interpersonal and presentation skills
