Job Responsibilities:

  • Sales Negotiation – Develop clinical solutions and agreements with all clinical supply principals through discussions or other means of communication. Drive the decision-making process to the benefit of the organization.
  • Responsible for growth of opportunities in the Clinical Trials business with both new and existing principals, with an emphasis on principal satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Conveys orally and in writing via presentations and written business communication, technical concepts, solutions and pricing in a well-organized and persuasive manner so that others understand and are influenced to act.
  • Consultative Selling – Advising, recommending clinical supply solutions to principals on how to meet or address needs.
  • Development of clinical trial supply capabilities through identification of principal requirements, assessment of RFQ/RFP/RFI, communication and developing solutions both internally and through partnership activities.
  • Manage the sales cycle including but not limited to the initial contact, meetings, responding to clients’ queries, preparing and presenting Clinical Supplies sourcing proposals, to the final settlement stage to ensure customers’ requirements are met and Company’s interests protected
  • Maintains accurate contacts in the CRM system in a timely manner
  • Other projects as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Degree / Diploma qualification in related area
  • Solid understanding of the theory and practice of supply chain management
  • At least 2 years relevant experience within a 3PL or equivalent service provider, or air freight/ courier transport management or with pharma knowledge and ideally experience working for a CRO, Medical device and/or clinical trial industry
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical and/or healthcare environment desirable
  • Experience of working cross culturally, on a regional and/or global basis, will be highly desirable. Additional language skills will also be an added bonus
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and clinical research to understand client requirements better
  • Good people skills, ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships both internally and externally
  • High level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel and power point skill sets
