Euromonitor Hong Kong
Euromonitor International is establishing a new national subsidiary operation to service the market of Hong Kong, with sales and research teams to be recruited October to December 2017. The Hong Kong business will commence full operations in April 2018.
We will have in Hong Kong one sales team dedicated to advertising, banking and consulting clients, and another sales team dedicated to consumer and industrial corporate clients and to government and academic clients.
Key objectives for the office
Overview of the business development role
You will be responsible for targeting new companies and organisations across your territory and/or account managing some existing clients. You will be a highly self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record for selling in the business-to-business arena. You’ll have the tenacity, drive, commercial awareness and persuasiveness to find the right contacts, understand the client’s issues, and match and apply the benefits in your solution. You will often need to involve several stakeholders, both internally and externally, so strong networking and organization skills as well as an understanding of customers’ purchasing dynamics are a must.
This role is client facing, and will require regular travel to meet clients face to face.
Full fluency in English to a business level, both written and verbal is required.
