Business Development Manager – Australia Market

Lee Kum Kee International Holdings Ltd

Responsibilities: -

  • Plan and achieve the annual sales and NCBA targets
  • Analyze the sales and business data to identify business opportunities and enhance business development of the markets
  • Work closely with distributors on sales and marketing programs for both Retail and Foodservice sectors and monitor their performance in order to achieve sales targets
  • Analyze the monthly sales results (shipment, in-market sales and Nielsen data) and business performance to prepare business reports and internal / external review meetings
  • Prepare monthly rolling sales forecast for the markets
  • Work closely with Sales Order Processing, Production and Import / Export team to ensure smooth sales order delivery
  • Work closely with R&D and Global Marketing team on potential new product development or product enhancement
  • Manage the overall product portfolio and pricing
  • Monitor and manage the overall P&L
  • Maintain consistent and complete records of business data, market information, customer record of the markets
  • Frequent visit / long stay in Australia to collect market information or implement local projects in retail / foodservice segments
  • Any other tasks assigned as required


Requirements: -

  • Degree holder in Business Administration or Marketing
  • At least 7-year working experience in FMCG, ideally in Food Industry
  • Experience in handling export business and managing overseas distributors is a plus
  • Actual experiences of working in foreign countries is a plus
  • Hands on experience in managing multi-cultural sales and marketing (including digital) programs
  • Work independently, innovative in thinking, detail-minded and result oriented
  • Assertive, proactive and positive attitude.
  • Possess good communication and negotiation skills in working with business partners including distributors and agencies
  • Good team player
  • Proficient in both written and speaking in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • Proficient to use computer and software such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (include Chinese word processing)
  • Willing to do frequent travel / stay in Australia
