Business Development Manager V China (Hong Kong)

Our client is a leading global financial technology provider for sophisticated electronic trading and investment management. They provide financial institutions with a low-latency, scalable platform supporting all trading businesses related to listed markets such as delta-one, structured products and options market making & trading. Embedding sophisticated algorithmic capabilities, the platform empowers their clients to create, test and implement automated trading strategies within incredibly short timescales.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve Sales targets by defining and executing effective strategies to generate and convert qualified leads in China
  • Identify and qualify new prospects as well as manage existing relationships
  • Arrange meetings (presentation and demo for our pre-sales) with qualified leads
  • Be involved in driving sales campaign & strategies defined for your markets
  • Follow up prospects, build proposal and negotiate contracts until deals are closed
  • Provide management with regular detailed information on customer needs, market trends, competitive activity, pricing and new business opportunities
  • Establish and maintain excellent on-going relationship with clients

Requirements:

  • 3 – 6 years of sales experience in financial markets, trading, etc.
  • Existing network of contacts within the market
  • Proven track record of closing business in strategic accounts and achieving assigned sales quota, with ability to develop and implement strategic major account plans
  • Autonomous, self-motivated with positive attitude to become part of our team
  • Native in Mandarin and English
