Business Development Manager V Post Trade Processing (Hong Kong)


Our client provides transaction lifecycle management solutions and managed services to the middle and back-office of financial institutions. Buy side and sell side firms use their software to ensure greater efficiency, automation and control in their post trade operations.

In this role, you will manage existing relationships with clients, prospects and partners across Greater China (including Hong Kong and Taiwan). You will also be responsible for identifying and qualifying new revenue opportunities in line with annual targets.


  • Generate sales from existing client by upselling and cross-selling other products
  • Identify and qualify new prospects
  • Assist partners/distributors, to help generate sales and provide sales support
  • Operate as key point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Ensure a high level of proactive and responsive customer service
  • Communicate client needs and demands to other departments in the business
  • Forecast and track client account metrics
  • Manage projects within client relationships, meet client goals and company goals
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders working with the same client to ensure consistency
  • Service multiple clients concurrently whilst being able to deliver on all deadlines

  • 8-10+ years of client facing experience within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets
  • Consultative/complex sales experience preferably in post trade processing
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously
  • Experience working in a regional office and being part of a global team
  • Project Management skills would also be very useful
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin/Cantonese
