Perform sales of Meeting & Event spaces including: Initial telephone inquiry, tour of meeting facilities, preparation of quotation, follow-up calls, closing of sale and preparation of agreement
Research and identify new business - including new markets, trends, clients, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
Discuss promotional strategy and activities with marketing department
Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation, generate leads and cold call
Develop and maintain a long-term good relationship with existing clients
Understand the needs of clients and be able to respond effectively with solutions, including developing quotes and proposals
Coordinate all details required and communicate with various departments to ensure that a client‘s event is executed flawlessly
Maintain CRM system up to date to ensure accuracy of results, sales figures and data
Attend seminars, conferences and networking events where appropriate
Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world
Job Requirements:
Bachelor Degree or above
Minimum 3 years solid work experience in business development, experience in the coworking industry is a bonus
Excellent time management and problem solving skill
Aggressive, sales and result oriented
Able to work under pressure, highly motivated to outreach goals and targets
Mature, independent, and good team player
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Business Development Executive (Meetings and Events)
Immediate available is highly preferred
