Job Description
  • To develop Corporate Markets by conducting local and overseas sales calls on corporations, TMCs and IHG Key Account Directors;
  • Manage sales activities and events inline with annual sales and marketing plan in order to execute sales strategy for the hotel;
  • Collect market intelligence pertaining to developments in markets, including monitoring trade developments and competitor plans and activities as well as publications and various media (including Internet) for related information;
  • Agree upon the terms and conditions of the contract with a client and prepare the paperwork required;
  • Plan and conduct familiarization tours and site inspections to our customers;
  • Prepare Sales Activities reports to the management of the hotel regarding sales details;
  • Work closely with Fulfilment teams to ensure all opportunities are fully tapped, locally and internationally;
  • Carry out ad-hoc and special assignments as required.

Job Requirement

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred;
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferably in hotel industry or related industry;
  • Good organizational, problem solving and decision making skills are a must;
  • Able to meet strict timeline and perform multiple tasks with minimum supervision;
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with good command of spoken and written English as well as Putonghua;
  • Proficiency in PC knowledge and MS Office applications;
  • Knowledgeable in Sales system is an advantage.
