Business Development Manager (Mobile Internet Platform Solution)

  • Reporting to Director of Messaging and Mobile VAS, the candidate is to act as technical sales person to promote our International SMS solution or Mobile Internet Platform Solution to our customers or new projects along market segments including carriers (fixed or international), MNOs, MVNOs, WiFi, OTTs, Developers/Integrators, Mobile OEMs and enterprise customers.
  • Prepare technical documentations and presentations for M800 solutions as per the customers’ requirements
  • Meeting customers to discuss and define technical and functional requirements and co-ordinate with Engineering and R&D for Solution Developments and implementations
  • Conduct product and technical presentations 
  • Work closely with various teams of the company (i.e. R&D team, product team, operation support team, legal, billing team etc.) to ensure successful delivery of services/solutions to the acquired customer according to the committed timeline and contract terms. 

To be successful it is expected that the candidate will meet the following requirements: 

  • University graduate in Computer Science, engineering or other disciplines who have accumulated experience in the related fields as equivalent.
  • 5+ years sales experience in IT or Telecom services related. Experience in direct dealing (proposal, quotation, contractual level) with customers in Mainland China or Taiwan is preferred.
  • Understanding of some of the below subjects:
  • International SMS Services, Mobile APPs/Software Development Kit, Mobile Value Added services, voice over IP solutions, 3G/4G/WiFi technology, Unified Communications, Cloud Computing services, Big Data, CRM, e-Commerce, OTTs and is savvy about picking up new technologies and solutions. 
  • Fluent in English, Chinese (writing), speaking Putonghua and Cantonese.
  • Enterprise oriented, outgoing, keen to win orders and new customers. 
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Hard working, persistent, energetic and passionate. 
  • About 25% travelling is required.
