Business Director



What We'll Bring:

We are seeking experienced business owners to join a dynamic and fast-paced team. This position is accountable for delivering TransUnion solutions to major financial services institutions in Hong Kong. Responsible for protecting revenue in current portfolio of business solutions deployed within the clients as well as building out a pipeline for additional revenue opportunities. Providing superior client service is a must. This includes engaging, assessing, leading and facilitating all business development associates and subject matter experts to identify, sell, close and manage existing projects in a collaborative manner. Requires a thorough understanding of the entire consumer lending lifecycle, including acquisition, portfolio management, customer retention, and fraud management and both business and technical components of the process.

What You'll Bring:

  • Must be able to relate to and engage with various levels within a client’s organization and have strong networking skills. Experience in customer relationship management and sales experience at top Hong Kong banks or solution companies preferred. Understanding of the consumer credit life cycle and the profitability dynamics a strong plus.

  • Communication: Must possess excellent verbal and writing skills. Comfortable speaking in front of large groups. Proficient in tailoring messages to various audiences. Proficiency in English and Chinese is required. Fluent Mandarin a plus.
  • Teamwork: Comfortable in an environment with limited direct influence. Able to reach out to peers and collaborate with partners to get things done.

Impact You'll Make:

  • Deliver on annual and long-term sales and revenue target on assigned clients. Identify new business opportunities to expand and deepen TransUnion engagement with the clients, which are major financial services institutions in Hong Kong. Maximize account penetration by increasing depth and breadth of TU solutions across customer’s organization.
  • Lead account engagement planning activities on the assigned clients. Build and execute account engagement strategy based on business and market intelligence and through collaborating with solution consultants, subject matter experts, and solution delivery teams. Identify, develop and establish relationships with key/potential customers. Elevate TransUnion position to strategic partner and trusted adviser to the clients.
  • Possess a holistic understanding of consumer lending life cycle and critical value creation levers. Be able to articulate TransUnion solution value propositions while supported by a thorough understanding of competitor’s products and services
  • Lead external client planning process to guarantee client acknowledgement of key business issues and recommended TU solutions and resources to address issues and opportunities is perceived by the customer as contributing to their success by providing strategic input and value-added solutions.
  • Conduct regular account service conversations with TransUnion internal parties on all customer related matters. Responsible for high client satisfaction results with all TransUnion solutions and project deliverables.
  • Contribute to TransUnion business growth efforts by providing insights on emerging market trends and ‘voice of customer’ that result in new product idea and/or service improvement. Champion select growth initiatives driving exceptional revenue growth from key accounts.
  • Adopt and exemplify TransUnion sales engagement framework model.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
