Scope of Duties:

  • Support the definition and implementation of the HAECO Business Improvement Strategy by being an active and decisive member of the Business Improvement team
  • Assist Business Improvement Leader & Assistant Business Improvement Leader to facilitate, lead and communicate improvement activities in order to embed a continuous improvement culture within the Business
  • Use analysis and benchmarking techniques to identify and quantify the opportunities for improvement within the business
  • Maintain regular communication / review with ‘improvement teams’ to ensure improvements activities are being progressed and sustained
  • Support the arrangement of accreditation and recognition ceremonies as required; regular briefings and communication activities
  • Assist in monitoring and working with the local improvement teams to report on all improvement activity progress such as Greenbelt, Lean, CoE, project delivery and Training
  • Support in the coordination of governance meeting, training, workshops, good practice visits, ‘Kaizen Blitz’, ‘Go-look see’ and coaching sessions as required
  • Assist in the preparation and update of relevant procedures, guidelines, standards and reports related to business improvement activities and update various communication channels accordingly
  • Communicate with the ‘frontline’ and ‘cell leaders’ through various communication channels to promote a positive attitude and active engagement in improvement activity to create value for business
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • A recognized Degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 1 year working experience is preferable / Fresh university graduates
  • Sound analytical, problem solving and communication skills
  • Knowledge in quality systems / tools (e.g. ISO9001, process mapping) or lean sigma will be an advantage
  • Proactive, action-oriented and approachable team-player
  • Knowledge in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written
