In-house strategy role in a global manufacturer, supporting the Director and Senior Manager in Business Strategy Analysis and Planning
Our client is Hong Kong-based clothing manufacturer with a globalised client base and supply chain. Its Strategy Unit, which supports the CEO and Board of Directors to set business agendas, is looking for a business analyst/market intelligence candidate to join them as an Analyst.
As the Business Strategy and Planning Analyst, you will
Conduct market research in support of various strategic initiatives
Work with the manager/senior manager to provide analytical support for planning meetings
Support the development and execution of business process improvement projects
Assist the manager/senior manager in evaluate operating process, using various tools such as staff interviews, workshops, process mapping, and value stream mapping
Collect, analyse and interpret data for baseline performance, verify root cause and document current/future states
Provide analytic support to determine the financial feasibility of large capital projects
Analyse financial and operational data to uncover business insights and develop recommendations
To qualify, you should possess:
University Degree and three to five years of relevant work experience in market and business analysis
Strong analytical skills with sound business judgement
Passion for strategic thinking and problem solving
Interest in apparel manufacturing
Ability to work independently and manage time appropriately
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
In additional, you should be detail-oriented, proactive and inquisitive (i.e. ask to the right questions).
