Based in our Hong Kong Regional Headquarters, the Business System Specialist will work with a small IT team on a wide range of activities involving ERP, B2B, CRM, and other tasks as assigned by the IT Director. This is a unique opportunity for the right individual who possesses a technical background along with strong project and business experience. The ideal candidate will have a track record of technical excellence with the proven ability to map customer business problems to end-to-end technology solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the company in business process improvements, implementing best practices and fully utilizing system capabilities.
  • Handle day to day IT issues and manage IT applications and databases.
  • Analyse problem areas to identify permanent solutions, user training needs, process improvement and ideas to improve business flows.
  • Development and troubleshooting of management reports and queries.
  • Be responsible for completing any special projects that are assigned to you by the IT Director.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
  • 2-5 years relevant working experience including expertise in hands on support and maintenance of ERP systems, B2B ecommerce systems, and/or customer management systems.
  • Possess knowledge and skills in the areas of application programming, database and system design, system integration and data migration.
  • Expsure to MS SQL Server, ASP.NET, XML, and other database/web technologies.
  • Experience working with ERP systems is a must. Knowledge of Infor SunSystems ERP would be highly regarded.
  • In-depth understanding of the wholesale/distribution industry is strongly preferred. In particular, knowledge of areas such as buying/planning, merchandising, warehouse management, sales order management, inventory management, and finance.
  • Strong skills in interpersonal communications, time management, organization, decision making and customer service.
  • Solid English skills. This is a regional position and is necessary to communicate with staff in multiple office locations throughout the Asia/Pacific region.
  • Some travel throughout the Asia/Pacific region may be required
