Buying Officer / Planner

Responsibilities :

  • Develop, reforecast OTB monthly based on newly developed product line and business plan.
  • Work closely with Buying team & Retail team to maintain a promotional calendar providing guidance on crucial period.
  • Analyze sales/sq ft of sales and productivity of stores and recommend product shifts based on learnings to maximize sales.
  • Analyze store stock levels and present "action points" for the management of inventory and receipts.
  • Maintain divisional buy plans to achieve sales, sell thru, and receipt strategies outlined in OTB's.
  • Calculate the profit and loss for potential new stores to copy with fast growing business in China.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years of solid buying, planning, distribution / allocation experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, in particular, Excel: Pivot table & Vlookup
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Mandarin is a must)
  • Possess strong numerical sense and organizational skill
  • Willing to travel to China occasionally
