C++ Engineering Team Lead - Exchange Connectivity Technology

Our client, a leading global financial technology group, is looking for a C++ Engineering Team Lead with proven development experience and leadership to lead their exchange connectivity technology team in Hong Kong. 

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to perform the design and development of the exchange connectivity platform with ultra-low-latency design. He/she will also be expected to collaborate with the global technology team to drive the latest design and innovation into its exchange connectivity platform.

The candidate should:

  • Proven years of multi-threaded / distributed development experience in C++
  • Be able to communicate concisely with technologists and product specialists in global teams.
  • Be able to demonstrate experience of designing and implementing reliable, scalable real-time applications in a distributed environment.
  • Strong knowledge and direct experience with financial trading system is preferred
  • Comfortable working in an R&D like technology engineering environment.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the Linux operating system and server-side development on a Unix-based platform.
  • Have deep knowledge of STL and preferably exposure to Boost or other third-party libraries
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Silicon-valley and/or high-tech experience welcome
