Reports to: Cabin Programmes Manager (Linefit)

Department: Engineering (ENG)

The job holder will ensure the availability of material and cabin programme kits against the agreed service levels and meet key cabin programme milestones. He/ She will manage supplier quality, identify and correct recurring supply chain and quality shortfalls. He/ She is responsible for maximising warranty and insurance recovery under the terms and conditions of supplier contracts and ad-hoc incidents.

Note: For the purposes of this document, ‘CX’ A/C or fleet may extend to Cathay Dragon (KA) or Air Hong Kong (AHK) on individual project basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects and oversee cabin programmes to ensure that the quality of work and project delivery will meet CX requirements.
  • Deliver assigned Technical Services functions in support of cabin programmes and cabin operations.
  • Deliver fleet projects and initiate improvements that improve safety, efficiency and cost.
  • Build strong working relationships with cabin suppliers and MROs.  Ensure cost effective on-site support for cabin programmes as required.
  • Support and drive cabin safety and reliability improvements through structured cross-functional engagement with key stakeholders, e.g. Inflight Service Delivery (ISD) Department at CX and ISD Department at KA. Manage assigned meetings as required.


  • Minimum 6.5 years' experience in aircraft maintenance and/or engineering processes. Exposure to inventory management, technical services or procurement.
  • Degree in Engineering / Aerospace, Logistics discipline or other engineering field.  Alternatively, relevant qualifications, combined with practical experience in material management.
  • Good analytical skills and process-oriented.
  • Good commercial and financial awareness and acumen. Able to work with external suppliers to extract maximum value from contracts.
  • Good in communication, influencing and negotiation skills. Able to build and maintain collaborative relationships.
  • Drive for excellence.
  • Adaptable and responsive to change. Demonstrated ability to identify and drive process improvements.
  • Proven ability to drive initiatives across the department.
