As the Assistant Manager, you will work closely with our Café Carlyle Operations Manager to elevate our Members’ Café Carlyle experience to the highest level. You will also have the chance to build a world-class service team you can be proud of. This is a unique role in a global brand development journey offering you the opportunity to be an integral part of an exciting pre-opening project in Hong Kong – and we’d love to have you on-board!

What you need to have:

  • Prior experience in creating an unmatched drinking and dining journey; exposure in live performance restaurant operation is an advantage
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build genuine, long-term relationships
  • ŸA sophisticated, charismatic personality and a passion for music
  • Strong leadership and adroit decision-making skills with a calm confidence – especially under pressure!
  • Impressive organisation skills with an attention to detail that is second to none
  • A strong command of English

What you will do:

  • Assist the Café Carlyle Operations Manager in working with the Music and Artist Curation Team on events scheduling and related preparation
  • Help craft a deeply rewarding entertainment experience for our Members, with sensational food & beverage service alongside peerless live performances
  • Communicate with the culinary team and Café Carlyle Operations Manager to ensure every part of our food & beverage service meets the Carlyle & Co. level of excellence – from food and beverage quality, to every Associate interaction
  • Interact with Members to obtain feedback and build positive relationships – don’t be shy, introduce yourself!
  • Assist the Café Carlyle Operations Manager to train the Café Carlyle team on performance, menu items, restaurant operating procedures and Member service, enabling them to perform at the highest level and with the utmost productivity
  • Conduct departmental briefings and meetings to maintain seamless communication with the team
  • Manage staffing levels to meet operational needs
  • Estimate operating equipment and supplies consumption and manage the purchase within budget
  • Represent the Café Carlyle team in the absence of the Café Carlyle Operations Manager
