CAO - Global Real Estate - Regional Operations Manager - Associate

Position Objectives:

Overall objective of this role is to lead the property operations for commercial offices across the APAC region. In this role you will work closely with your manager, GRE cluster head/ country heads and the global property management team to drive excellence in service delivery across workplace and FM services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Workplace delivery

  • Support the delivery of future of work including workplace experience, hospitality and wellness services across the commercial office portfolio with our service partners
  • Work closely with design and construction team, service providers and other stakeholders to ensure uniform customer experience is provided across all our facilities
  • Have ownership of all service-related policies, procedures, journey maps and other collaterals as required

Best Practice

  • Provide analytics capability across the property management business
  • Oversee and co-ordinate the environmental and sustainability initiatives and best practices
  • Ensure JPMC global/ regional standards are consistently implemented across the APAC property portfolio

Project planning and execution

  • Provide operational input to the D&C group for workplace design, operationalize various property/ facility management services, implement relevant standards and implement industry best practices
  • Roll-out of various standard procedures and policies, new systems/ tools and services as required
  • Manage minor moves-adds-changes and change management process as required

Stakeholder/ Client relationships

  • Be a trusted GRE advisor and partner through the ongoing development of relationships with the internal GRE country/ cluster heads, line of business (LOB), other functions and service partners
  • Work in close collaboration with D&C teams on delivery and transition of various projects across the portfolio
  • Build strategic partnership with service providers

  • Support the development of baseline for property compliance and asset maintenance in consultation with Regional Engineering Manager and service partners
  • Manage service provider's performance across workplace delivery, environmental sustainability and maintenance compliance to maximize efficiency and drive change
  • Reporting including statistical analysis as required

Financial management

  • Review and analyze OPEX budgets across workplace services
  • Optimize services within the available budget
  • Manage minor property management capital works within PM scope



  • A relevant tertiary qualification (Project Management, Corporate Real Estate/ Property Management, building services or science/engineering)
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in one or more Property Management or Workplace delivery functions;
  • Experience within a multi-national preferably within the hospitality, technology sector or banking sector;
  • Proven executor in the delivery of new initiatives across multiple locations;
  • Sensitive to, and capable of managing, all aspects of workplace services;
  • A creative and lateral thinker being open to new ideas and able to adopt and implement change effectively;
  • Experience delivering objectives to a remote team and sensitive to cultural differences around the region;
  • Team player with high ethical standards and able to manage change and diversity;
  • Good all round communication skills in receiving, delivering, and broadcasting information to effectively communicate with both local and international clients and co-workers - proficiency in written and spoken English is essential;
  • Computer literate, proficient in Excel and very familiar with word and power point;
  • Experience in environmental and sustainability would be an advantage
