Reports to: Assistant Manager Cargo Distribution

Department: Cargo

The job holder is responsible for supporting the development of different distribution channels for Cathay Pacific Cargo and implementing cargo distribution strategies to support our commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance customer experience in e-booking by designing, promoting and implementing new tools for automated distribution
  • Drive continuous enhancement in existing e-booking functions to increase overall e-booking ratio
  • Assist to drive continuous improvement of Cathay Pacific Cargo flagship website
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to provide solutions to internal/external customers on automated distribution tool
  • Active communications with worldwide outport teams on new development on automated distribution tools
  • Benchmark and keep abreast of industry trend and latest technology of e-channels
  • Maintain rulebook/guidelines for worldwide reservation team on e-booking/booking functions
  • Assist in worldwide GSA contract negotiation and administration. Assess effectiveness of GSA against commission pay-out
  • Prepare cargo distribution cost budget and forecast
  • Miscellaneous administration duties with relevance to financial securities coordination


  • Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience in cargo airline reservation and/or freight forwarder operation is a plus
  • Project management experience
  • Experience in managing website is a plus
  • Strong cultural awareness and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well with diverse colleagues and clients
  • Strong implementation capabilities. Deliver results
  • Be motivated and willing to learn and take on new initiatives
