Hong Kong Baptist University has long been one of Asia's pathfinders in whole-person business education. HKBU School of Business is among just 1% of business schools worldwide with triple accreditation from AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), AMBA (Association of MBAs) and EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System). The School consists of five departments, currently staffed by 121 full-time faculty members. Department of Management
The Department invites applications for the following positions. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in one or more of the specified areas.
i. Human Resources Management
ii. Organizational Behaviour
iii. Strategic Management
iv. Research Methods
Applicants must hold, or expect to hold, a PhD degree. Applicants for Research Assistant Professorship should have good potential in research and teaching. Applicants for Chair Professorship / Professorship / Associate Professorship / Assistant Professorship should be able to demonstrate commitment to excellence in research and teaching and be willing to work collaboratively with colleagues. Evidence of ability to publish in top-tier journals is required. Interviews may be arranged in the coming Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Chicago, USA (10-14 August 2018) and/or in the HKBU campus in Hong Kong at a later stage.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of three years commencing September 2019 or the earliest available date. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding. Appointment of Assistant Professor or above will be made on a tenure-track basis. Outstanding candidates at Associate Professor or above rank may be considered for tenure on appointment.
Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
