Located in Hong Kong, BASF’s Asia Pacific headquarters oversees more than 18,000 employees at about 100 production sites and 125 sales offices across the region. In addition to a number of regional business units, the Hong Kong office also houses regional functional units including Corporate Affairs, Finance and Controlling, Human Resources, Management Consulting, Procurement and Supply Chain Services.

BASF Management Consulting is the internal management consultancy of the BASF Group and the preferred and trusted partner of BASF units worldwide.

Objectives of the Position

  • Reporting to the Head of Practice Group Change Excellence, the incumbent will support leadership and organization in implementing effective change interventions as part of the Management Consulting team.
Job Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize change management measures and implement individual interventions, such as large group events and workshops with management teams
  • Specify change impacts and derive change roadmaps for organizational and cultural projects
  • Apply systemic and management consulting expertise to make change successful
  • Within the assigned projects, get to know the multifaceted business fields of BASF and create a network at the management level
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in business and economics or social science with excellent overall marks
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in a top tier management consultancy, focusing on change management and organizational development projects in the Asia Pacific region
  • Proficient in conceptualizing, implementing and managing change activities, including such as development of strategic change roadmaps, cultural analysis and leadership coaching
  • Excellent communication skills in English and in other Asian language
  • Experience in a global corporate environment and working with (executive) management
  • A self-starter who can build on a structured yet pragmatic and flexible work approach
  • Willingness to travel frequently for the assigned projects
