Channel Sales / Business Development Manager & Director

Position Overview:
Channel Sales Manager/Director: Responsible for the local (HK/Greater China) business development for the Company. Native Cantonese with good command in English & Putonghua. Work aggressively towards corporate objective and work closely with senior management. Develop potential business partners and local distributors for different market segments. Depending on experience, capability and willingness & speed to learn, regional responsibility will be given.
Business Development Managers / Business Development Director Responsible for the international business development for the Company, and will have lots of opportunities to get exposed to not only local business partners, but also regional and international. As a result, fluency in English as well as other languages such as Japanese, Russian and/or European languages will be an advantage. Work aggressively towards corporate objective and work closely with senior management. Develop potential business partners and local distributors in each market for different market segments. Depending on experience, capability and willingness & speed to learn, regional responsibility will be given.
 
Job Responsibilities:
• Identify, Develop and Manage channel customers via various above-the-line marketing strategies.
  • Maintain existing customer base via various ATL and BTL marketing strategies.
  • Provide account servicing to existing customers and further grow their businesses.
  • Meet aggressive sales targets for each customer or distributor.
  • Formulate and implement competitive strategies, product training and marketing.
  • Initiate product marketing strategies & positioning to acquire market shares in accordance with management’s expectations.
  • Responsible for all aspects of account management from sales forecasting to new business development.
  • Formulate, develop, implement and execute strategic business plans. Ensure effective implementation of sales & marketing strategies.
  • Participate in international trade exhibitions, and occasional travel is expected to meet customers worldwide.
  • Identify business opportunities and conduct feasibilities studies to senior management level.
Job Requirements:
• Degree holder in related disciplines with working experience in IT firms / MNC (sizeable companies) / manufacturing companies. Master degree is preferred but not necessary.
  • 5-20 years (depending on position applied) of Sales & Marketing or Business Development working experience with good track records. (Less experience will consider for Asst. Sales Manager or Business Development Executive positions).
  • Solid experience in Channel Sales & Management. Knowledge in Greater China region is definitely an advantage.
  • Good business sense with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Proven success in developing new business area and experience in local Sales and Marketing in IT or Computer related product or industry is preferred but not necessary.
  • Experience or knowledge of CRM, CDBM, etc. for customer management would be an advantage.
  • Solid work ethic and strong time and project management skills.
  • Willing to travel occasionally within or across regions.
  • Experience in export business & distributorship management in the HK or Greater China markets is a MUST for Managerial positions.
