The incumbent will be responsible for conducting chemical testing on precious metal(s) containing metal alloy/pulp samples using Fire Assay method and/or other analytical methods such as ICP-OES, titrimetric methods and etc..  Report clearly and accurately the result of analysis in SAP system.


  • Issuing testing report and providing technical services to customers
  • Ensuring the laboratory in compliance with the requirements according to ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO17025 international standards
  • Following SOPs and QA/QC criteria for routine tasks
  • Performing sample analysis and reporting the assay results in SAP
  • Calibrating balances and other 5S requirements


  • Higher Diploma or above in chemistry, analytical science, chemical technology or other related disciplines
  • Solid technical skill in operating analytical instrument (e.g. ICP, AA, autotitrator and etc.) or/and has fire assay experience is an advantage
  • 1 to 2 years working experience in analytical chemistry laboratory is preferable
  • Meticulous, initiative and analytical mind
  • Candidate with less experience / lower qualification (i.e. IVE graduate) will also be considered
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred
