Chief Engineer / Assistant Chief Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Engineering staff to ensure that all day to day operational matters are handled in a timely manner and coordination with other departments;
• Responsible for monitoring regulatory requirements and maintaining regulatory requirements.
• Liaises with purchasing and suppliers to ensure provision of quality engineering supplies at most competitive prices;
• Ensure the compliance of all regulations and safety standards;
• Make frequent inspection to check the condition of building and equipment, and ensure all are in proper operation.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering / Building Service Engineering
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience preferably with hotel experience
• Knowledge in preventive maintenance programme and special projects will be an advantage;
• Technical knowledge in air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration systems and fire systems;
• Holder of valid Registered Electrical Worker Grade B0 or above and Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card)
• Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills
