Chief Operating Officer
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal or related discipline
  • MBA is a plus
  • Over 15+ years work experience with at least 7 years in top management level
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Demonstrated financial management knowledge
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of China and Hong Kong markets and work environment
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and the accuracy, timeliness reliability, and usefulness of financial information
  • Excellent ability to translate complex financial data into simple and easy to read graphs and charts
  • Effective interpersonal skills, ability to work well with and communicate clearly and efficiently to diverse teams
  • Experience in designing, planning and implementing various systems to measure performance and work efficiency
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills
Job Duties:
  • We are seeking for a passionate and experienced Chief Operating Officer to lead the group and work closely with the CEO, CFO and Chairman to achieve business efficiency
  • As a key member of the senior management, COO oversees the Group's ongoing operations and procedures. You will report to CEO & Chairman and secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth coupled with responsibility for the efficiency of business
  • Report to CEO & Chairman
  • Develop and implement growth strategies with the management
  • Measure effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes both internally and externally and find ways to improve processes
  • Oversee daily operations of the Group and the work of executives for functional responsibility.
  • Provide mentoring to all employees, including management, to ensure development of skills and competencies, to build and maintain trust and respect, to encourage maximum performance and dedication
  • Will be accountable for staff performance and complete within schedule and constraints
  • Coordinate with HR Department to recruit skilled talent and keep the best employees
  • Oversee performance of each business function's budget and work with business function heads to ensure KPIs are achieved
  • Monitor and control expenditure per approved budgets
  • Work in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Chair regular meetings with function heads and senior management to review and act on KPIs and strategic planning
  • Serve as primary liaison to legal counsel in addressing legal issues e.g. copyright, contract review of commercial terms, partnerships licensing etc
  • Participate in expansion activities and manage relationships with partners & stakeholders
