The successful applicant will join the Investment Banking team focusing on helping clients focusing in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan by executing transactions across a broad range of industries and products. This is a unique opportunity that will provide you direct exposure and interaction to C-Suite clients/ key decision makers. You will be provided opportunities to be involved in direct client interactions and real-time transactions that may include frequent travel.

  • Acting as the primary client point of contact and lead banker on deals
  • Uses in-depth analysis, market and product knowledge to generate business recommendations
  • Reviewing and coordinating the analytic work of junior bankers to move marketing/execution process forward
  • Refines marketing/execution materials for maximum client impact
  • Building a strong network within client product base
  • Overseeing the creation of financial projection models
  • Identifying and managing all risks in a given deal
  • Liaising with other internal and external parties on transactions (eg. lawyers, accountants, counterparties)
  • Conducting due diligence
  • Leading client negotiations, Q&A process and management interviews
  • Keeping up with key developments within the industry

Qualifications:

  • Prior working experience in an investment banking front office role.
  • Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing skills.
  • A well-rounded academic background from a top tier educational institution.
  • Understands transaction cycle and the steps in the process and is execution oriented.
  • Impeccable communication details with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other line of business.
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently.

Language

  • The ability to read and speak English and Mandarin is a prerequisite
