About J.P. Morgan Investor Client Management:

Investor Client Management (ICM) is a small team whose purpose is to manage J.P. Morgan's ‘whole of bank’ relationships with a select list of our top-tier investor clients. Such relationships are highly complex, cross-product, often cross-geography and cross-divisional (i.e. involves extensive work with Markets (fixed income & equities), Securities Services (all post-trade products) and the Investment Bank. Our aim is to ensure that we are delivering a holistic, best-in-class service so as to maximise revenues by entrenching J.P. Morgan as the client's counterparty of choice. We do this by working in close coordination with the different lines of business within J.P. Morgan and by developing and maintaining strong client relationships at a senior level, i.e. CEO, CIO, COO and the Board. The business is deal orientated and strategic.
 

Job Description:
 

This role sits within the front office where you will work with the senior member of the team to support their client coverage. There will also be the opportunity to gain wider exposure to other Sales teams and the various product lines of the Bank. The role fits into a regional and global ICM team structure and will work closely with the ICM teams in the region, New York and London on broader ICM projects and initiatives
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of materials for the regular schedule of priority Investor client reviews
  • Collation of revenue data from across the bank and ensure its accuracy
  • Mapping of client structures, product teams and key personal
  • Production of internal and external presentations, including analysis of product gaps versus peer analysis
  • Preparation of other ad hoc support materials / presentations for the senior management group
  • Build trusted relationships with a variety of internal partners
  • Help drive product improvements to meet changing client needs
  • Maintain a culture of compliance, control, integrity and ethics
  • Take ownership for thinking ahead to identify potential future issues, escalate and help resolve them
  • Understand and follow the firm's approach and policies for managing risks in relevant business and applicable legal and regulatory rules (including KYC)
 

Your Background:

  • A genuine interest or previous experience with Investor Services and/or Asset Management sectors. Specifically, some exposure to existing investor clients of J.P. Morgan would be very helpful
  • Previous experience within one or more of the core partner businesses would be beneficial, i.e. Markets, Securities Services or Investment Banking
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • An understanding of the workings of the J.P. Morgan revenue reporting systems would be beneficial
  • The role requires an enquiring mind, perseverance, strong attention to detail and the ability to workshop large quantities of data
  • The candidate must be highly motivated, a self-starter and possess the ability to work independently
  • Understand the client product cycle, anticipate market trends and impacts to the business
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written, to different audiences is essential
