Equities Middle Office Project & Program Manager

We’re looking for an experienced professional to help define and drive our strategic change agenda across the Equities space. The role will focus primarily on our global Prime business with emphasis on delivering multi-faceted change on revenue opportunities, scalability, efficiency, control and exceptional client service.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Manage and ultimately deliver a portfolio of global and region specific projects
  • Understand relative priorities across functions and shaping the change agenda to deliver optimal benefits
  • Coordinate and collaborate across business and technology functions to ensure comprehensive solutions are delivered
  • Define and manage the scope of projects, anticipating issues and proactively recommending solutions
  • Understand, review, analyse and evaluate business needs
  • Evaluate digital tools including robotics technology and leverage them to provide operational efficiencies
  • Scope, elicit, analyse and document business requirements
  • Active stakeholder engagement at both the working group and senior management level
  • Bridging the gap across functional and global stakeholder groups for consistency in direction and objectives

Our requirements:

  • At least 7 years experience working in the financial industry.
  • Minimum 5 years working in the change / projects environment
  • Well seasoned in managing the respective lifecycle phases of small and large scale projects
  • Experience in partnering closely with Technology to deliver optimal solutions within time and budget
  • Ability to shape global agendas that underpin the overall business objectives
  • Middle office line experience a big plus
  • Excellent problem solving skills to identify, understand and address operational and technical issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including senior executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • A self motivated individual, able to deliver with minimal supervision whilst working effectively in a team
